Choir Rehearsal, 9:30AM, Worship Service – 10:30AM, Children’s Learning Community – during Worship time after being dismissed from the service.

 

Monday July 26, 9am to Noon Vacation Bible School at FBCB

 

Tuesday July 27, 9AM to Noon, Vacation Bible School at FBCB

 

Wednesday, July 28, 9AM to Noon Vacation Bible School at FBCB

“Summer Shorts” with Pastor Babian at 7PM

 

The Global Gift Shop is open today after services.

 

Learning Community classes for adults continue to be offered.

 

Change of Date for VBS:  VBS will be held from 9AM to Noon on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, July 26, 27 and 28.  The theme will be Build A Better World: Water!  It will be geared for first through seventh graders. On Wednesday, after we wrap up we will go have lunch and then on to a Water Park for the afternoon!  Sign up in the Welcome Center or RSVP to the church office.

 

Please remember to think about donating items to Keely Tyson who in turn sells them on eBay to raise funds for Friendship House.

Pastor Babian will return to the church this Tuesday. He will preach on Sunday July 25.

 

The ladies of the church will share lunch and fellowship at Peabody’s Restaurant in Birmingham tomorrow at 11AM. All are welcome to join them!

 

Friendship House Golf Outing fundraiser is on September 25 at the Fox Creek Golf Course. $85 per golfer. See the flyer in the Welcome Center for further details.

 

Summer office hours continue through mid-August. They are: Monday through Thursday, 9AM to 2PM. 

 

Save the Date -- 2010 Annual Equipping Event/Annual Meeting : Save the date for this year's Annual Equipping Event and Annual Meeting: October 22-23 at the First Baptist Church in Charlotte. Joining us will be the Rev. Brad Powell, Pastor of NorthRidge Church in Plymouth, Michigan. Church World Service of Michigan (the CROP Walk folks) invites you to participate in a “Learn & Serve” bus trip to the CWS Service Center in New Windsor, Maryland, October 25-29. You will have a hands-on experience at the International Gift Shop and the warehouse where CWS blankets and kits are collected, packed and shipped for use around the world. The trip includes a side trip to Gettysburg, PA. Why not consider participating in this short-term mission trip with a friend or two?
